About our lift stations...

and why/when to power them with solar energy

We installed our first Solar Lift Station in 2015. We developed solar powered lift stations to provide an option where grid power is either unavailable or too expensive to access.

Our system is solar direct meaning no batteries are used. Batteries are expensive, maintenance intensive, and not easily integrated with most VFD type drives for running pump motors.

Solar power runs the pump by day and an optional manual or automatic standby generator can power the pump by night.

We have many of these solar lift stations operating in New York, Vermont, Georgia, Ontario, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, The Dakota's, Manitoba, Nebraska, and Oregon.
